Amazon Solar Farm Ohio – Hillcrest is a 200 MW solar energy facility located in Brown County, Ohio in the United States. At the time of its commissioning, on May 11, 2021, it was the largest solar energy facility in the state of Ohio. The totality of its generated electric output and environmental attributes is sold under a long-term corporate power purchase agreement to an investment-grade rated US corporation.
Amazon Solar Farm Ohio – Hillcrest was one of the first utility-scale solar projects to complete the Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) permitting process successfully (Case No. 17-1152-EL-BGN). The solar energy facility is comprised of 606,480 First Solar Series 6 thin film photovoltaic solar panels.
